This painting was inspired by a huge mermaid outside a surf side grill! she was weathered by hurricanes but, still there! And very HUMONGOUS! Somewhere along the A1A highway north of Cocoa Beach. Maybe you've seen her? I can't really remember the name of the place or what it looked like so, all I had to go on was my imagination since I didn't stop to photograph or sketch her!
Irish philosophy In life, there are only two things to worry about... either you are well or you are sick. If you are well, there is nothing to worry about. But, if you are sick there are only two things to worry about... Either you will get well or you will die. If you get well there is nothing to worry about. But, if you die there are only two things to worry about... Either you will go to Heaven or hell. If you go to Heaven there is nothing to worry about. And if you go to hell you will be so busy shaking hands friends with all your friends you won't have time to worry! Happy St. Patrick's Day! Today is the opening of the Tulsa Gallery that is featuring my works! there is nothing to worry about! this painting sold just yesterday! Yippee! but, not to worry...I have more!
This post is just for a really delicious Cuban restaurant I found! Real Cuban cuisine, not the American version. It is WPB, Fl. and the name is "RICE & BEANS" or "CUBAN CAFE". Priced reasonably & authentic! This is a cat from TheRobGalleryCATs! collection.....She was the most salsa looking painting I have at the moment. She has been sold though, not available for sale. However, there are lots more cats & I am happy to take requests! Just remembered, I have a piece with a Latin Flair! This one is still available! Click on the blog link to see my portfolio! Adios!
While filling the pipe, a prayer would be said to each of the four directions; as well as Mother Earth, Father Sky and the final offer to the Great Spirit. A little tobacco was also spilled onto the ground to signify giving back to Mother Earth.
There once was a cat from Dunmore, He was shamrock green goes the folklore; He's luckier than finding a leprechaun, Granting you magical wishes before he's gone!
